macOS 10.15 (Beta): First look

Multiple master strokes from Apple!

I am talking about the recent WWDC 2019, where Apple revealed, series of technological advancements and new developments. It includes new iOS 13, watchOS 6,  tvOS 13, macOS 15 and first time is history, a separate OS for iPad, named iPadOS. Surprises aren't stop here. It was treat to all to see the whole new Mac Pro with new Pro Display. Apple even makes happy to their developers with latest development related tools and frameworks. Whole World got excited to use all of these. Although beta versions of everything are available for registered developers from developer.apple.com, AppStore releases will be available this fall for public.

Today, I'm talking about the first look of new macOS 10.15, named macOS Catalina. Apple claims, it is World's most advance desktop operating system.
Just installed the Catalina, off-course the beta version. And tell you fact, it is a power house operating system. From App Developers to Creative Professionals, so much features are given into this single OS. Soon, I will come with individual features, in detail. But today is about overview only.

System Preferences:

Look wise changed. Related to Apple ID settings, are now clubbed together on top of the System Preferences. Right from there you can customise you picture, Apple Account and Family Sharing. For me, it is more convenient to access my Apple Account. Rest of the settings are almost same like previous version. Whatever few changes, I will cover in my next post, when I will talk about only System Preferences of Catalina.

Podcasts:

Great App to access podcasts, around the World, from your Mac. Simple yet elegant interface leads to ease of use and organise things. I have to create a separate post, just for this app.

Apple TV:

A long wait ends here. Now enjoy TV experience with your Mac. Yes, Apple TV app is now available in Catalina. Interface just like AppleTV box.

Music:

iTunes app replaced with Music App, like iOS. So Music App made for entertainment only. iOS device sync is not available here. Look wise, excellent interface with more meaningful sidebar options.
Note: iOS device management like sync, backup, restore, etc., now we can do directly from Finder window. Connected device will be visible in Finder's sidebar, under locations section (earlier known as devices).

Kudos to Tim and Team from Apple Inc. 🙏🏼
